Furaha Children’s Home Visit – June 2026
On Saturday, 27th June 2026, Kitara Foundation, together with Juris Leadership Alliance, carried out a successful outreach program at Furaha Children’s Home in Nanyuki. The day began with warm introductions and bonding activities such as bicycle riding, football, and games that brought joy and laughter to the children. Our team then joined the children in cooking and sharing lunch, creating a family atmosphere rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu. Mentorship sessions were held separately for girls and boys, focusing on confidence, responsibility, and hope, followed by a joint talk on values, encouragement, and community. The program concluded with closing remarks and group photos, leaving lasting memories of love and belonging. In line with our commitment to transparency, all support purchases were audited, with a revised accountable total of KES 22,280, ensuring donor trust and financial integrity. This program reaffirmed our mission to see every child as royalty valued, supported, and empowered.
