Furaha Children’s Home Visit – June 2026
On Saturday, 27th June 2026, Kitara Foundation, in partnership with Juris Leadership Alliance, visited Furaha Children’s Home in Nanyuki, reaching 50 children with a day of joy, mentorship, and community spirit. The program began with warm introductions before the compound came alive with bicycle riding, football, and games that filled the air with laughter. Together with the children, our team prepared meals and shared lunch, creating a family atmosphere rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu. Separate mentorship sessions for girls and boys focused on confidence, responsibility, and hope, followed by a joint talk on values and community. The day closed with words of encouragement and group photos, capturing smiles that reflected love and belonging. In line with our commitment to transparency, all support purchases were audited, with a revised accountable total of KES 22,280, ensuring donor trust and financial integrity. This visit was more than a single day it was a reminder that every child deserves to be seen as royalty, valued, and supported in both heart and community.
